Sterling steadies after May wins no-confidence vote

Sterling was stable this morning after British Prime Minister Theresa May survived a no-confidence vote yesterday and invited other party leaders for talks to try to break the impasse on a Brexit withdrawal deal.

May pushes for consensus on Brexit Plan B

British Prime Minister Theresa May will hold further meetings with MPs and opposition groups today as she faces a deadlock over a new Brexit plan, which must come before parliament on Monday.
